Camera Float for StreamYard Privacy Policy

Camera Float for StreamYard is a local browser utility that displays a user-selected StreamYard studio tab in a muted picture-in-picture window.

Information the extension processes

After the user clicks the extension, it temporarily processes the selected tab's URL, title, visible pixels, and on-screen layout. Visible stage content, participant names, comments, or private-chat content may be included when those elements are displayed in the selected tab.

How the information is used

This information is used only to identify the selected StreamYard tab, render the user-requested floating view, isolate the visible program or participant areas, and navigate to Comments, Private Chat, or the full studio when the user clicks those controls.

Local processing and retention

The extension does not transmit captured content or browsing information to the developer or any third party. It does not retain captured content after the capture ends. It does not record audio, use analytics, or create a remote user profile.

Sharing and sale

The extension does not share personal information, website content, browsing activity, user-generated content, or personal communications. It does not sell any user data.

Security and user control

Capture begins only after the user invokes the extension and clicks Start Floating Monitor. The user can stop capture at any time by clicking Stop or closing the controller tab. Closing the selected StreamYard tab also ends the capture.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension's disclosed, user-facing functionality.
